Member volunteers are the backbone of the organization, with three standing advisory committees that advise the COO (Finance, Human Resources and Major Repair) and several other committees chaired by department heads. Each of the groups works closely with the staff, researches and investigates ideas which may be beneficial to KICA. The work is vital and interesting; we invite you to participate!

Covenant Compliance

Digest Production

Finance

Governance

Comprises of staff, board directors and HRC members. The purpose of this committee is to create and manage a succession planning and talent management process for board of directors, chief operation officer, committee members and key staff members.

Human Resources

Reviews human resource policies and salary/benefit items. Prior human resources experience would be a benefit to this committee.

Land and Lakes Management

Provides input on current issues relating to the management of the land and lake common property maintained by KICA. Members with expertise in water and land management preferred, such as backgrounds in limnology, botany, landscape architecture and horticulture.
