The Kiawah Island Community Association’s Community Center is affectionately known as The Sandcastle. All members are invited to visit and enjoy all that the Sandcastle offers. Here are some of the great amenities you'll find at the Sandcastle:

• Fitness Center:  The Sandcastle building houses a large fitness center, with weight and cardio machines, as well as a multi-purpose fitness classroom. View the fitness class schedule here.

• Pool:  The family-friendly Sandcastle grounds contain a spacious pool with several lap lanes, a children's wading pool, a covered picnic pavilion, a playground area and large sun deck overlooking the dunes and the beach.

• Castle Grille: The Castle Grille, open Memorial Day through Labor Day, is a pool-side restaurant offering a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, snacks, desserts and drinks. View a menu here. 

• Lending Library/Lounge/Internet:  The lending library contains a wide selection of gently used donated books, games, puzzles and audio books for members to borrow from and donate to. The library is perfect for both reading and conversing, with soothing, neutral colors and several seating areas.  Daily newspapers are available in the lounge area as well as wireless Internet.

• Banquet Rooms:  The Sandcastle's second floor provides three adjoining banquet rooms and a catering kitchen used for club meetings, events and general interaction. Each banquet room has floor-to-ceiling windows and access to beautiful veranda overlooking the scenic Atlantic Ocean. Please visit our Private Events page to book your next event.
